Job Description

As an IELTS Instructor, you will be part of a team dedicated to preparing students for success in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. Your role involves designing comprehensive courses that equip students with the necessary skills and strategies to excel in the test. We prioritize creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence and achieve their target scores.

Workload: 22 classes + 5 hours office time

Key Responsibilities

Engage students in interactive activities focused on the four key components of the IELTS exam: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective lesson plans aligned with the objectives of the IELTS exam.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Provide constructive feedback and individualized support to help students improve their English language proficiency.
Create a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and learning.
Assess student progress through regular practice tests and mock exams, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Communicate regularly with students to track their progress and address any concerns or challenges they may face.
Stay updated on the latest developments in the IELTS exam and incorporate relevant changes into the curriculum.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge of IELTS preparation strategies.
Skills & Experience

Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals in the IELTS exam.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Previous experience teaching IELTS preparation courses is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the format and requirements of the IELTS exam.
Adaptability and creativity in designing engaging and effective lesson plans.
Patience and empathy in supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement as an IELTS instructor.
